MedLab Ghana Ltd. has continually strengthened its capacity to produce quality results. A testament to these efforts is the fact that MedLab Ghana Ltd. is Ghana’s first and only medical laboratory accredited to ISO:15189.

This standard of excellence was awarded by the South African National Accreditation System (SANAS) for 2008 – 2012. Our facility Reference Number is MO317. View certificate

Accreditation to the ISO: 15189: 2007 means that we operate on the same level as other internationally certified laboratories, and our results can be trusted.

Medlab Ghana Ltd. has shown its commitment to maintain and offer highest internationally recognized quality system by retaining its accreditation status. SANAS assessed the laboratory in 2011 to verify its continued competence and compliance to ISO 15189:2007 quality system STD and this was proven by achieving accreditation for the next four year cycle.

Medlab Ghana Ltd. puts its customers first; this is by ensuring results issued are reliable, accurate and on time, thus enabling clinicians to take life saving decision immediately. This commitment of compliance is achieved by equipping our staff with the latest validated methods and using technologically advanced equipment and also participating in proficiency testing (accuracy checks) with accredited organizations.

Medlab has acquired services of Group Lab Manager – Ms. Mponeng Poo who has vast experience in quality systems especially ISO 15189. She has been involved in quality audits /assessments in and around SADAC region and West and Central Africa for the past six years. She is a registered Technical and management assessor for SANAS and SADCAS accreditation bodies.
